GIS – 19 November 2024: The outgoing High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Mauritius, Mrs. K. Nandini Singla, presented her heartfelt gratitude to the people of Mauritius for their warmth and hospitality during her four-year tenure in Mauritius, following her farewell call on the Prime Minister, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, this evening, at the Treasury Building in Port-Louis.
She stated that she had a cordial and productive meeting with the Prime Minister while indicating that discussions focused mainly on achievements and projects that have been realised so far with the support of Government of India.
Mrs Singla underlined the enthusiasm of the Prime Minister to consolidate the existing collaboration between Mauritius and India and take the partnership to an even higher level with new projects.
To this regard, she reiterated the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to Prime Minister Ramgoolam for a visit to India.
