GIS -18 April 2025: Cementing the existing friendly ties between the Republic of Mauritius and the Union of the Comoros is at the core of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, responsible for the Arab World, Diaspora, the Francophonie and African Integration of the Comoros, Mr Mbae Mohamed, and his delegation’s visit.
In a statement following a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, this evening at the New Treasury Building in Port-Louis, the Comorian Minister expressed gratitude to the Government for the warm welcome that his delegation received during their visit to Mauritius.
Mr Mohamed added that he took the opportunity to convey the message of the President of the Union of the Comoros, Mr Azali Assoumani, who reiterates his fraternal relation with Prime Minister Ramgoolam.
The Foreign Affairs Minister also indicated that he reaffirmed the willingness of his country to further collaborate with Mauritius, and reinforce bilateral cooperation in the economic, health, agricultural and fisheries sectors.
